This is a basic breakout board. It provides screw-on terminals to pins 1-17 and ground of the parallel port. It comes with a females DB25 connector. Pins 18-25 are connected ground.
This card does not provide any kind of signal conditioning. It does not have buffers, optoisolators, capacitors (for absorbing noise), or pull-down resistors. It is for use with devices that do not need signal condition, such as other cnc4pc boards.
Do not use this board for wiring Geckodrvies, these drives require 16 milliamps signals, the parallel port can only deliver 10 milliamps. Using this board for these drives can cause lose of steps and unreliable operation.
• Screw-On connections for all terminals. You only have to screw-on the wires to make all your connections.
• Output pins 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,14,16,17.
• Input pins 10,11,12,13,15.
